Publisher Description
An indispensable skippers tool, dragging whilst on anchor is now a thing of the past.
How much chain should we drop? What is the depth? What is the wind speed? Are we staying for the day or over night? How many markers is that?
This is the normal talk when dropping the anchor, yet the anchor length app helps skippers when dropping the anchor, immediately determining the amount of chain needed to be dropped based on the current depth, wind speed and size of the vessel.
The app is fully adjustable and allows the skipper to input the amount of chain on board and the size of the vessel. In addition the skipper is also able to input the amount of meters used per marker in order to make dropping the chain that much simpler.
